Roofing Contractor in Lenoir City, TN
Tellico Lake homes, lakefront cabins, and Lenoir City commercial properties get the same treatment as a roof in our backyard. The full crew, the right materials, and a site cleaned up like we were never there.
Lakefront and in-town roofing where Tellico meets the Tennessee River.
Lenoir City sits where Tellico Lake and Fort Loudoun meet the Tennessee River, and the roofs here split three ways: lakefront homes and cabins on the coves, in-town neighborhoods, and the commercial buildings along Highway 321 and the interstate. We work all three with the same crews and the same supervisor on site.
Lakefront roofs are the specialty work. Steep waterside pitches, decks on every level, and wind straight off the water mean more rigging, more deck protection, and more attention to fastening on the exposed slope. In town it's full architectural shingle replacements and repairs. For the commercial buildings, we're a Versico Certified Installer for TPO and EPDM single-ply systems.
Materials are the same as everywhere we work: Owens Corning Duration shingles installed to Platinum Preferred standards, 24-gauge standing seam and 29-gauge screw-down metal with trim from our own shop, and seamless gutters formed on site.

What Lenoir City roofs actually deal with.
Wind off the water is the lake-house issue. The exposed slope takes gusts the road side never sees, and the sun on that same side ages shingles unevenly. In-town roofs deal with the usual East Tennessee heat, humidity, and tree cover. The flat commercial roofs along the highway have their own issue: ponding water on tired drains.
Lakefront roofs take weather from the water side. Wind crosses open water with nothing to slow it and hits the exposed slope hard, so fastening pattern and flashing matter more here than on a sheltered in-town lot. Those slopes also face the sun and the spray, which ages shingles unevenly from one side of the house to the other.
Lenoir City summers are long and humid, and that's the quiet killer of shingle roofs in East Tennessee. An attic without real airflow cooks the shingles from underneath and takes years off their life, so we check soffit and ridge ventilation on every estimate. Winter brings freeze-and-thaw cycles rather than deep snow: water gets under a lifted shingle edge, freezes, lifts it further, and the next thaw finds the decking. Ice and water shield in the valleys, where that water concentrates, is cheap insurance against exactly that.
Tree cover does the rest. Leaves and needles pack valleys and gutters, hold moisture against the shingles, and feed algae and moss on shaded slopes. Gutter guards and a fall cleanout do more for a roof's lifespan here than most people expect, and a look at the roof every year or two catches the small problems while they're still small.

We work for you, not for a sales quota.
Brian King Roofing is a retail roofer. A homeowner in Lenoir City calls us, we look at the roof, and we tell them the truth about it. Often the honest answer is a repair, and when it is, that's what we recommend.
If a storm did damage your roof, we'll meet your adjuster for the inspection, give you photo documentation, and answer your questions about the process. You stay in control of your claim. We don't chase storms, we don't door-knock, and we don't pressure anyone.
- Honest inspections with photo documentation
- Repair recommended when repair is the right answer

Straight answers.
Don't see your question? Call 865-573-6859 and ask.
Do you do commercial roofs in Lenoir City?
- Yes. We're a Versico Certified Installer for TPO and EPDM single-ply systems, with tapered insulation design and manufacturer system warranties, and commercial buildings along the highway are regular work for us.
What's different about a lakefront roof?
- Wind and sun on the water-facing slope, decks that need protecting during tear-off, and driveways that make material delivery a plan rather than an afterthought. We've done enough of them to have the routine down.
How fast can you get to a roof leak in Lenoir City?
- We respond to every request within one business day, and for an active leak we can usually be on site within 24 hours of your call. Our shop is in Seymour and our crews work across East Tennessee every day. Call 865-573-6859 and tell us water is coming in so we can prioritize it.
Shingles or metal for a Lenoir City home?
- Both work well here and we install both every week. Architectural shingles are the lower up-front cost and look right on most homes. Standing seam metal costs more, lasts longer, and holds up better under heavy tree cover and wind. We'll give you a straight recommendation for your house and a quote for either one.
Do you offer financing?
- Yes. We partner with GreenSky for roofing financing with fixed monthly payments, and zero-interest promotional plans are available for qualified buyers. We'll walk you through the options when we go over your estimate.
What warranties come with a new roof?
- Three layers. The manufacturer's materials warranty, our own workmanship warranty (a two-year minimum on every install and lifetime on standing seam metal), and, on qualifying Owens Corning shingle systems, the Platinum Protection warranty that only Platinum Preferred contractors can register.
